Webster & Webster Associates Donates $33,000 to Support Workforce Development
at Central Union Mission
Washington, DC (August 2023) — Central Union Mission is pleased to receive a $33,000 investment from longtime supporters, Webster & Webster Associates. Their donation will directly benefit the workforce development and education programs at the Comprehensive Family Resource Center (CFRC).

Marcus & Diavia Webster
Marcus Webster, of Webster & Webster Associates, has a long history with Central Union Mission dating back to the 1980s when he first volunteered with the Workforce Development program and taught computer literacy classes. “This is a full circle moment for me, and I have always been honored to serve with the Mission. I love that they are literally saving lives and also spreading the gospel,” he said when interviewed last year.
Central Union Mission established the CFRC in 2022, significantly expanding the existing food and clothing distribution center to include extensive, co-located services for families and individuals struggling to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. This investment from Webster & Webster Associates will help disadvantaged individuals with critically needed workforce development and education services in one location through classes, job training, job placement, and more. The goal is to educate, engage, and employ individuals in livable wage positions of promise that enable to them to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.
