Comprehensive Family Resource Center Baby Shower

The Comprehensive Family Resource Center is having a baby shower (By Invitation Only).

At the Comprehensive Family Resource Center, many vulnerable mothers or mothers-to-be come through our doors daily looking for help. We believe every life is precious and want to celebrate this new life by hosting a baby shower honoring the mothers who struggle to make it. Many families in the low-income community cannot afford all the supplies needed to have a baby and their families cannot afford to throw them a Baby Shower. Join us on Saturday, May 11 to bless these families with God’s love and support while we shower the mama’s with the supplies, encouragement, and fellowship they need for hope towards a bright future!

Date:  Saturday May 11th, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM .

* The Event is by Invitation Only*

The event will be held at the Comprehensive Family Resource Center, 3194 Bladensburg Rd. NE, Suite B, Washington DC 20018.

Ways you can help:

• • Purchase anything on the general baby needs list for the mothers. (download here)
  • Lead the mom’s in a fun baby shower game
  • Need Babysitters for the babies/kids while mom enjoys the Baby Shower
  • Sponsor a specific mother/baby.
  • Donate online for Baby Shower supplies & gifts.

  Volunteers in general are welcome on the day of the event. Please register under Volunteer Central. (Up to 10 people).
