MEDIA ADVISORY: Central Union Mission Hosts Second Annual Job & Resource Fair

WHAT: Central Union Mission’s Comprehensive Family Resource Center is hosting its second Job and Resource Fair, providing job seekers with access to employers, job training programs, resume support, and vital community resources.

WHEN: Tuesday, June 10, 2025 | 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Comprehensive Family Resource Center 3194 Bladensburg Rd. NE, Washington, D.C.

WHY:  Following last year’s successful event, Central Union Mission continues its efforts to combat poverty and unemployment by connecting community members to career pathways and essential services.


MEDIA OPPORTUNITIES:

  • Interviews with Mission President Joe Mettimano and Brandon Bragg,
    Senior Director of Workforce Development and Education
  • Photo/video opportunities of job seekers engaging with employers
  • Stories of life change from participants
