Mr. Tate administrates the Mission’s Camp Bennett facility and directs the children’s summer camp program. Michael served for 4 years as the director of youth and Christian education at Emmanual Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to his youth ministry, Michael also ran a Mathnasium franchise teaching supplementary math to first grade through college-age students. Before that, he served as a director of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation program for the Department of the Navy in Norfolk, VA, for 10 years. We welcome Michael and his family as they move to the DC area to renovate Camp Bennett’s programs.
