The individuals and groups who volunteer their time and talents at the mission play a very important role in our ability to serve the poor and needy in the city. If you or a group that you are involved with would like to work at the mission, we would love to have you! There are many ways that you can serve.

General Opportunities

Please register to volunteer 2 weeks in advance for all general opportunities

Children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult for all opportunities

*Food Depot.
Monday & Thursday: 9:00am - 11:30am
Work details: Checking in clients, sort, bag and distribute food

*Administrative Offices
(during busy holiday season October – December)
Monday – Friday: 9am
Work Details: mailing, filing, answering phones, folding, and data entry
(organizational skills a plus!)

*Serving Meals.

Breakfast: 6:00am-7:00am
Monday – Friday 6:45am -7:45am
Sunday & Saturday
Dinner: 5:00pm- 6:00pm
Sunday – Saturday
5 volunteers needed nightly

*Building Cleaning.
Sunday - Saturday: 8am-10am
Work Details:
wet mopping, sweeping, stripping and making of beds,
Sanitize and deodorize bathrooms.
Volunteers needed: 1-10 volunteers needed

*Building Maintenance
Monday – Friday 9am – 12pm
Work Details:
filing, painting, computer data entry

Chapel Service
(for fall, spring and summer groups)
Monday – Friday & Saturday’s 6:15pm – 7:15pm
Work Details:
This opportunity is design for small or large groups to give concerts & drama presentations.
