WHUR Children's Coat Drive October 13, 2012 Tune in and Turn in Up for Chilly Kids
12-4pm WHUR 96.3 will be broadcasting live at Central Union Mission next Saturday, October 13, from noon to 4 pm for the WHUR-FM/WHUR-World Children's Coat Drive. You can stop by the Mission to meet WHUR personalities Marc Clarke and Troy Johnson and Mission staff. Please bring along a new children's coat (any size) to bless the cold and needy kids in our community. We could also use your help if you're available to assist the DJs and help collect coats. Please contact Seamus Merrigan, jmerrigan@missiondc.org, for information about volunteering. If you don't have time to shop for a coat, we are grateful for your online donation.
