Children are served through a number of community outreach programs, including holiday, community meals with their families, a school readiness program that provides free backpacks with grade-appropriate school supplies, and a Christmas program that provides free toys and clothes to underprivileged children. Over 1,400 backpacks were distributed to community children last year, and nearly 2,000 bags of toys and clothes were given away last Christmas.
