Operation Backpack 2012

Is there a bright spot to the "Back-To-School Blues?" Most kids will say their cool, new school supplies! Thanks to your generosity, over 800 children in Washington, DC, started this school year equipped with new book bags filled with age-appropriate school supplies.

Thanks also to the many volunteers who helped distribute the backpacks at our main Operation Backpack program on August 18 and our Hispanic Family Ministries program on August 11. These smiling faces show excitement and relief that they will be ready to learn, and your generous spirit showed the children how much God loves them.
